Vivian (Mammaw) McCall

Vivian (Mammaw) McCall, 79, of San Saba passed away at Scott & White Hospital in Temple on September 9, 2010.

Vivian was born February 4, 1931 the daughter of Connie and Julia Hamrick. Vivian was a housewife. She was a member of the Church of Christ and the San Saba Ladies Golf Association and the Armadillo Booster Club.

Vivian and Kenneth (Shorty) McCall were united in marriage on August 15, 1977 in Austin, Texas. Shorty preceded her in death October 12, 2008.

Vivian is survived by her sons, John Reavis and his wife Kelly of San Saba; Mike Reavis and his wife Jo of Henderson,Co; Bret McCall and his wife Annie of Belton; her daughters, Debra Ellis of Round Rock; and Paula Lewis of San Saba; grandchildren, Dane Ellis and his wife Leslie; Dana Ellis, Dee Dee and husband Gabe Hernandez; Melissa and husband Brandon Smith; Kolby Reavis, Johna Reavis, Matthew McCall, Blake Lewis, and Bryce Lewis; greatgrandchildren, Tanner Ellis, Jackson Ellis, Keira Hernandez, Eli Hernandez, and awaiting the arrival of Kalee Smith; her brother, Taylor Hamrick and his wife Leola of San Saba; her sister, Janie Sanford of Kempner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Connie Hamrick and Julia Blair Hamrick, Husband, K.W.(Shorty) McCall; one son Kevin McCall; brother, Murray Hamrick; and three sisters, Lurline Berrien, Dora Marler, and Alice Hairston.

Services were held Monday, September 13, 2010 at 2:00 P.M at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Kevin Martin Officiating.
