Betty Griffen,75, of Lometa,Texas, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple,Texas.

Betty and J.E Griffin were united in marriage on August 16, 1952 in Alvin, Texas.

Betty is survived by her husband, J.E Griffin; her sons Tommy Griffin and his wife Debbie of Jacksonville,TX; Dwayne Griffin of Lometa,TX; her daughters, Madonna Evans and husband Skip of Alvin,TX; Barbara Miles and husband Jon of Farmersville,TX; Diane Hart of Lometa,TX; Teresa Albert of Lampasas,TX; her grandchildren, Heather Pena, Jason Evans, Shane Miles, B.J Miles, Stephanie Lyon, Samantha Gentry, Chad Griffin, Justin Hart, Jonathan Hart, Jennifer Hart, A.J Norwood, D.F Norwood, Nina Griggs, Austin Hairston, Ashley Hairston, Jessica Griffin, and Holly Griffin; and 28 greatgrandchildren, her brothers, Tom Mills, Clarence Mills, Floyd Mills, Charles Mills, Roy Mills.

She is preceded in death by her father, her mother, and one sister.

Services for Betty were held Friday, September 10, 2010, at 2:00 P.M at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel in San Saba.

The family requests that memorials be made to the donars favorite charity.
