The Cherokee Volunteer Fire Department will have their annual fundraiser on Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. at the Fire Hall. They will be serving catfish, sirloin steaks and pork. They will be selling chances on a $400 gift certificate at Harry's, a beautiful quilt and a shotgun. Please come and bring your friends.

Awanas starts on Wednesday night at the Baptist Church. It is from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Trek starts the same night...Trek is for 5th and 6th Graders. We will be having family night so parents please stay for supper.

The Baptist Church will he having a music program for the young children on Sunday nights starting at 6:30 p.m.

The Cherokee Football team will be playing at Gustine next Friday night...Go Indians!
