The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met August 26, 2010 for play day and in the absence of the Chair for August, Anita Miles, Hattie Rogers called for a game of playing the holes beginning with the letters T and F less half your handicap. First Place went to Jo Ann Snow, who also scored the Low Net for the day, Second Place to Hattie Rogers, and Third Place to Marilyn Kerr, who also scored the Low Gross for the day. Sandee Hartley chipped in to win the chip in pot. Dorothy Sterner and Becky Hardin rounded out the field of players.

The Fall Four Lady Pecan Classic is scheduled for September 11, 2010 and will be sponsored by the Mills County State Bank. The ladies are so appreciative of our friends across the river for their generosity. If you haven’t entered your team please do so as soon as possible by calling Anita Miles at 325-372-3581. It is always a great tournament with good food and fun and fellowship! If you have entered perhaps you’d better be out there practicing and "swinging!"
