ACTS 10:11-13 "Peter saw Heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it were a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth. 12: Wherein were all manner of four footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13: And there came a voice to Peter, "Rise, Peter; kill and eat."

The great apostle, Peter, was hungry and while others were preparing food for him, he fell into a trance and saw the vision described in the above scripture. Our Bible teaches God created man to be supreme and above all animals and everything else He had created. The vast majority of young people may not even realize that every time they eat any kind of meat to satisfy their hunger, something had to die to provide it. Most have not seen animal life sacrificed and killed to prepare it's flesh to be physical food for people. It was a routine necessity for most of the older generations to kill their own animals, fowls, fish, or other creations to provide food for their family. God ordained this, and commanded Peter to do it. And God has shown me a great message relating to it that I hope to show you.

If we understand God's creation of man, there will be no doubt. Man is triune being like God, Himself. Man is an eternal soul: he has a God given spirit, and he lives in a temporary body. Being thus created man has a hungering need that animals do not have. Man needs physical food like other animals, but his soul, that animals do not have, needs food also. And that food has to be spiritual. My friends, give this attention, that is where Jesus Christ comes in. God lowered Christ's spiritual status to suffer a terrible fate and permit him to be sacrificed and killed to become the Spiritual food man's soul needs and has to have to live in the eternal realm. There are different foods you can feed your body, but none have the ability to sustain it like meat, and God told Peter to eat it. Some foods may harm your body and even kill it. There are other spirits you can take into your soul, but some are evil and may harm or even kill it. When Christ paid the terrible price of crucifixion it gave Him complete victory over all spirits. He alone can give your soul the Holy Spirit of God, which is the strongest thing in the world, and your should will never hunger. That means complete peace and eternal salvation. Then you will never feel a need for anything else. You will have eternal peace and perfect contentment. It is sad that Christ had to die to get that Spiritual food our soul needs.
