This past weekend, the San Saba High School Armadillos defeated the Dimmitt Wildcats in Snyder Texas. Friday’s game was played at Western Texas College and ended up 3-1 in favor of the Dillos. All the Dillos played well, with Blake Lewis throwing a great game with 12 strikeouts.
On Saturday, at Moffett field, the Wildcats won the first game 3-2 in 8 innings, Robert Pulatie threw very well, but we just weren’t able to get it done.
That set up our first needed 3rd game of the playoffs. Our offense was back on track quick, with a 6 run 1st inning. John Henry kept the Wildcats quiet at the plate. The Dillos won their 4th playoff series of the year 12-2 in 5 innings, winning the Regional Semifinals.
Congratulations to all the players, managers and all the great fans and all of those that support the Dillos.
