This past week The San Saba Armadillo football teams scrimmaged Comanche. Both the JV and the Varsity did many good things and we continue to work on many things.

The players and coaching staff would like to thank everyone that made the huge crowd at Meet The Dillos and the scrimmage. We had a awesome response to the towels, soap and shampoo. We also would like to thank the community for helping us with the cookie dough fundraiser, I do not know when those will come in but we will get the cookies and the pizza to you as soon as we get it. Thanks also to all the businesses that bought ads for the game day program this should make for a great program. A big thanks goes to Faye Currie for her hard work once again this year putting names on our jerseys.

This week school and the non-district part of our season starts. This Thursday the JV will take on Ballinger here at 6:00 pm. Friday morning the first "Coffee with the Coach" will be at 7:00 am. This Friday night the Varsity will travel to Ballinger to take on the Bearcats at 7:30. We hope to see you there.
