John Calvin is the focus of a six-week study being led by David Williams, beginning August 25 at the First Presbyterian Church of San Saba. The first session begins at 5:30 p.m. and the public is cordially invited.

John Calvin was the 16th Century Reformer whose teachings and writings began a movement which became the Reformed tradition, and helped to create many Protestant churches, including what became the Presbyterian Church. The class will meet weekly, on Wednesdays, in the Eddie Williams parlor at the church. First Presbyterian Church is located at 207 East Commerce Street. For more information, call 372-5311.
