Mother’s Day Out Program begins at San Saba’s First Baptist Church

San Saba’s First Baptist Church Mother’s Day Out Program is a twice weekly program comprised of targeted activities for children ages 9 months to 12 years of age. These activities are designed to make the time educational and extremely enjoyable. Some of the activities will be Chapel, Bible Verse Memorization, Prayer Time, Physical Fitness, Arts, Crafts, and Music and Movement. There will also be a pre-school curriculum, reading and storytelling, nap times, and outdoor activities – weather permitting. Healthy snacks will be provided twice daily. Each child will provide their own lunch. Danny Ingram, the church’s administrator, states, "This is a new and unique program for the San Saba Community. We wanted to provide a program for children that would be educational and stimulating and an opportunity for moms to have a break".

Sheila Meador, widely acclaimed children’s entertainer and educator known by her fans as "Ms. Sheila," has been selected to be the Program Director. Along with her hilarious side kick, "Teddy," Ms. Sheila will begin her special brand of entertainment and education on August 30

Make plans to register now as there is limited availability for this exciting children’s program. Early registration ends August 25

Mr. Ingram comments, "We anticipate our Mother’s Day Out Program will provide a new level of children’s growth and education in San Saba, and are excited that Ms. Meador has agreed to be the program’s director." th (discounts may apply). Normal hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., but early drop-off times are available. Drop-ins and one time visitors will also be welcome.
