Fellowship of Christian Women are invited to the First Presbyterian Church next Thursday, August 26th for a Special Picnicking.

The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will be gathering in the downstairs fellowship hall. Ladies in their 70’s will be treated to lunch and other ages are encouraged to bring picnic foods to share around the serving tables. A nursery can be available, if you phone Sharon Hayes in advance for arrangements to be made at this church. Do bring food for your children if you wish for them to eat during the luncheon.

Mrs. Fred Baker has agreed to be the featured speaker for this luncheon. Mindy has been studying and preparing for the ministry in Sisseton, South Dakota this past year, serving as pastor of the First Presbyterian Church there. She graduated in May and moved here August 1st. Mindy plans to share with us some of her experiences in South Dakota. Fred and Mindy have two daughters and several grandchildren, and make their home here in San Saba. Please make your plans to come and fellowship with the ladies of the county, and enjoy the stories and blessings of pastoring in South Dakota.
