Harvey Galloway

Harvey Galloway, 87, of San Saba passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010, at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas.

Harvey was born November 11, 1922 in Winters, Tx. the son of Hubert Galloway and Beluah McDonald Galloway. Harvey was a tow boat captain and a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy.

On March 14, 1983 Harvey married Annie Faye Young in Lampasas.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Annie Faye Galloway of San Saba; one son, Mike Galloway and his wife Tammy of Brownwood; grandchildren, J. D. and his wife Barb Blanton of Tomball; Teresa Pirl of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; Katey Dawson and her husband Richard of San Saba; Karl Jones of San Saba; Karen Edmondson and her husband Jimmy Don of Big Springs; and Kirk Jones of Big Springs. Harvey is also survived by numerous other grandchildren, great grandchilderen and great great grandchildren and most important many friends and numerous nieces and nephews.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Arlene Galloway, one daughter, Donna Vick, two brothers, Horace Galloway and Jake Galloway and one sister Helen Fikes Terry.

Services for Harvey Galloway were held on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Welton Watson, officiating. The interment, Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Whites Cemetery at Highlands, Tx with Rev. Charles Bobbitt, officiating.

A visitation was be held at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel.

The family requests memorials be made to San Saba EMS.
