The descendants met at the Senior Center on Sunday, August 1st for the 86th Reunion. The following people attended. Joe and LaVerne Vogel of Dallas; Gary and Sharon Vogel of San Saba; Angela Bradley and Sharon Beth and Caleb James of Brookesmith; Carolyn and Thomas Stiles of Temple; Maribel and Martin Hoke of El Campo; Doug and Vicki Smith of Richardson; Maren Smith of Noblesville, IN.; Bettye McLaughlin of San Saba, C. W. Cox and Mary Katherine Roberds Cox of San Saba; Marshall and Kameron Stiles and baby of Academy; Raymond and Bertha Patton of San Saba; W. T. (Dubis) Vogel of Burnet; Clay, Christina, Caylee, Cayson and Carter Vogel of Rochelle; and Mary Frances Herrington of San Saba.

Door prizes were given to the youngest person, Carter Vogel (5 months), oldest person W. T. Vogel (93 years) and person coming the longest distance Maren Smith (Noblesville, IN). It was voted to meet again on the first Sunday of August next year. Everyone had such a good time. All brought their favorite dish to make so the dinner was outstanding.
