Esther and Dan Cox had their grandchildren and children visiting last weekend.

Vickie, Gunner and Brissa Baugh have spent time visiting grandparents in Temple.

Kayla Davis had her tonsils removed last week. She is doing well at this time.

Brenden Pack had his tonsils and adenoids out last week.

Talli, Tori, Tommy and Kaci Morrison went to a family reunion last weekend.

Danny Duggan’s mother, Mary Duggan, had gall bladder surgery last week in Waco.

Cheer Camp is going on this week at the Cherokee Home gym.

Michael McLeod reported that Travis Shannon had caught nine wild hogs on his place. Michael is having surgery Wednesday for Carpel Tunnel. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Jeff Cockrum and friends from Georgetown had lunch in the store last week.

Maybelle and Gary Ray , Joyce, Randy and Brandon Capps have attended several family reunions lately. On June 27, they attended the Cook/Faught reunion at Brook Park in Lampasas; on July 3, they went to the Cook reunion at Lake Victor. Maybelle and Gary went with her nephew and wife, Bud and Christie Bearss from Georgetown, to the Harkey Reunion Saturday night. Maybelle and Gary also saw the Lampasas Spring Ho parade on July 10.

Our new math teacher is Nick Steinruck. He has found a house to rent but he is still looking for a place to keep his four horses. If you can help, please call him at 254-485-8287.

Jerry and Richard Randolph and Sue Rhoades were in Gustine last Saturday visiting Kevin, Mary and Jaze Randolph...
