The A.J. Walker, Sr. descendents reunion was held July, 10, 2010 at the Senior Center at Mill Pond Park.

Forty-five family members and friends had a wonderful day of visiting, looking at pictures, playing games and "42", having a lot of fun with a Silent Auction and a bidding Auction. We had a delicious Bar-B-Q and covered dish lunch followed by pies, cakes and cookies. The theme was Christmas in July and the room looked real pretty in all of its Christmas finery. All of the centerpieces were mystery gifts and were given out as door prizes. Raffle prizes, this year, were a Christmas quilt, a CD Boombox, and a 5 quart Crockpot. These prizes were won by: Emma McHorse, Linda Barron and Dorothy Cason, respectively. The special winners were: Youngest - River Kelton, Furthest from the Youngest - Martha Roe Terry, Most Family Present - Dorothy Cason, and Traveling the Farthest - Jackson McHorse from Lubbock. Eldon Pierce was unable to attend but he sent all his updated genealogy and family reports this year.
