Frizzell-Hughes-Schumpert family reunion was held June 5, 2010 at the Mill Pond Park Civic Center in San Saba, Texas. There were approximately 100 family members attending, arriving from Alto, New Mexico, Mesquite, Odessa, Grape Creek, Bangs, Austin, Hewitt, San Angelo, San Saba, Round Rock, Georgetown, Zephyr, Brownwood, Midland, Lexington, New Braunsfels, Sterling City, Taylor, Garland, M-anor and Grand Prairie.

A pot luck dinner was served and a White Elephant Sale was held in the afternoon. Proceeds from the sale go to pay for next year's reunion.

John Wesley and Jimmie Mae Frizzell were part of the San Saba community for over 50 years and raised their family here.

Bill and the late Carrol Schumpert's entire family attended this year. Marvin and Marjorie Frizzell made arrangements for the reunion. Marvin was the oldest member attending at 89 years of age. Next year's reunion will be held here again on the first Saturday in June.
