Scottish Rite Freemasons to Receive Honors

Members of the San Saba Scottish Rite Club will be traveling to Austin on Wednesday, August 4th to receive special recognition for their efforts in completing the Master Craftsman Program. After seven weeks of study the group will be recognized by the personal representative of the Sovereign Grand Inspector General of Texas for their accomplishments.

This was the largest group in the Southern Jurisdiction to ever take and complete the Master Craftsman course. In addition, the study group not only completed the course but participated in a second course of study. The Scottish Rite Basic Training Class consisting of basic knowledge and understanding of the customs, history and development of Scottish Rite Freemasonry. Members were also required to pass a 100 question final exam at the completion of the work.
