We are having some hot temperatures this week with no rain so far. We have a slight chance for rain over the next few days.

There were six members present for the Busy Bee quilting day last Tuesday. They were, Grace Hardman, Carol Orr, Marilyn Miller, Irene Hammett, Gloria and Fay Lusty. Nancy Slaughter was a visiting quilter. Since Nancy has retired from the water office, maybe she can join us more often. The ladies were working on Irene Hammett’s quilt and I believe she will bring it back in August.

There were nine in attendance at the community meeting last Saturday night. Monica Edmondson volunteered to tell about her visit with the Navajo Indians in New Mexico at the August community meeting. That should be interesting. Hope to see more folks there.

We were treated to a visit Sunday afternoon from Stacie, Santos and Sophia Elizondo. Sophie is already growing and changing so fast. Dean and Sandra Snoddy came by to meet my newest great grandbaby. We are always happy to show them off!
