The descendents of Maurice J. and Cora Ell Spear Lusty and Harry G. and Pearl Lusty met Sunday, July 18 for their annual barbecue lunch, followed by an auction of family items. This year we had a cookbook from the area in England which our family is from with extra pcitures of surrounding area. We had 52 descendents present. Those unable to attend were sorely missed. The oldest family member was Violet Lusty Brown and the youngest was Thed and Bob Birge's great grandson, Michael Trey Reisner, born July 2nd.

We had several new married couples, which we welcome to the family. We had none deceased this year which we were thankful for. Among those in attendance from San Saba were, Violet Lusty Brown,Taylor and Leola Hamrick, Darrell and Fay Lusty, James and Gloria Lusty, David and Joyce Mitchell, Raymond and Bertha Patton. Also attending were, Lori and Chandler Lusty, Rickey and Bobbie Lusty, Maurice and Tami Lusty, Brandon and Tanna Lusty, all of Richland Springs; Harlan and Tanya Lusty of Brownwood; Betty Miller of Lampasas; Daryl and Nelda Daniel, Craig, Ben, Landon, Jackie and Kaiden Daniel of Briggs; Clyde and Doris Lusty and Jannelle Marks of Comfort; Franklin Crain of Cherokee; Myrna and Bub Powell of Rochelle.
