The San Saba Garden Club has selected the home of Carlos and Jan Anderson at 1505 W. Commerce as the Yard of the Month for July, 2010. They moved there three months ago and have remodeled the entire place. There are ten very old oak trees in their yard around which they have gardened beautifully. On the North side there is a hibiscus bed, on the East is a Mexican garden, on the South are more flower beds and on the West side is a patio with many pots and flower beds. The plants include fern, lily, elephant ears, snapdragons, petunias, caladium, chrysanthemum, coleus, croton, lantana, salvia and many more.
