"Tea Party Float met with Standing Ovations" - Thirty eight Patriots joined the Fredericksburg Tea Party Committee, for the 4th of July Parade held in Fredericksburg Sunday, July 4th, helping finish decorations for the Float. They filled the float & truck to capacity, with some supporters opting to walk alongside the entire parade route. The crowd of a few thousand viewing the parade greeted the float with cheering, waving flags, and showing a rousing "thumbs-up" as the float passed in review. Participants riding the Float included supporters from Gillespie, Kerr, Llano, Mason, and San Saba Counties. Invited Veterans showcased on the float included Tommy Allen, Jeff Kunz, & D. Harkey of Llano, Fredericksburg, and San Saba, respectively. (Photo by Angela Smith)
