Feral Hog Control Seminar to be held July 23rd

The San Saba Soil and Water Conservation District #250 along with the Texas Agrilife Extension office is hosting a Feral Hog Appreciation Seminar on Friday, July 23rd 2010, at the San Saba Civic Center located in Mill Pond Park. The seminar will offer 6 CEU credits covering subjects related to feral hogs including their impacts on agriculture, diseses, control methods, and laws and regulations regarding hunting, trapping and transporting them.

The featured speaker will be Dr. Dale Rollins from San Angelo. The program begins at 9 am and ends at 3pm. The pre-registration fee (through July 16th) for the program is $20 which includes a fried catfish lunch prepared by Jackie Brister and crew. Tickets will be $25 at the door.
