Fellowship of Christian Women to meet July 22nd
Thursday, July 15, 2010 • Posted July 15, 2010

Next Thursday, July 22nd, Fellowship of Christian Women will be gathering at the First United Methodist Church in San Saba. Ladies of this church will be hosting a "Cool Recipes".

Luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the downstairs fellowship hall. So look through your recipes and bring foods that are cold for us to enjoy this time of the summer. We will be treating our ladies in their 60’s, so other ages please bring anything you’d like to share around the serving tables. A nursery can be available if you phone Sharon Hayes to make arrangements for the children.

Mrs. Russell Ransom (Sue) from Richland Springs has agreed to share an informative talk she has titled: "Never Lose the Wonder—Keeping Up the Joy." Sue has been to our luncheon several times to sing, but this month she will be our featured speaker. She is a Canadian by birth, and moved back to the family farm from Dallas, when Russell retired in 2005. She teaches 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th grades in Richland Springs and is also the tennis coach. The couple have 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Hope you will mark your calendar for July 22, and make your plans to meet us at the Methodist church for a time of fellowshipping and to hear Sue share a very exciting subject.
