Wheat Program July 16 - Farm & Ranch - San Saba News & Star

Texas AgriLife Extension, Crops Committee, is sponsoring a general wheat program for area producers. Dr. Robert Duncan, Extension Agronomist from College Station, will be at Rylander Library on Friday July 16th at 10:00 a.m.

Dr. Duncan spent some time this Spring evaluating several wheat fields in the County and has had contact with several producers through harvest. Information will be available from the 2010 wheat variety trials. Fertility and fungicides are two additional topics Dr. Duncan has been asked to address. Other subjects covered will depend on your questions and areas of interest or concern.

There is no charge for this educational effort. Two Continuing Education Units will be offered for those with a Pesticide Applicators License. Please contact the Texas AgriLife Extension office with any questions by calling 325- 372-5416
