San Saba County 4-H’er Ron Gerhart placed several of his photographs at the State Photography Contest held at State Round-up June 8-11. He had the following placings: Animals-Color, Red Ribbon; Architectural Elements, Red Ribbon; Landscape-Color, Blue Ribbon; People-Color, Red Ribbon; Plants/Flora-Color, Blue Ribbon and Theme-Color, Blue Ribbon. There were over 500 entries in the contest.

Gerhart is the grandson of Sandy Perry and the son of Brian Gerhart.
