Richland Springs will hold their 13th Annual Stars & Stripes Celebration on Saturday, July 3rd, 2010.

A parade will kick off the day beginning at 9:00 a.m. There will be activities for kids, vendors, horseshoes & washers, 4 wheeler & go cart mud races, a 42 tournament, and a watermelon competition.

RC Willey & The Sunriders Band will perform at 5 p.m., followed by a fish fry at 6 p.m. The fireworks display will begin at dark. If rained out the celebration will be held on the following Saturday, July 10th.

San Saba Impact 2000Plus is again providing a brilliant fireworks display over Mill Pond this year. It will be at nightfall on Sunday, July 4th at Mill Pond Park.

Sausage wrap meals will be for sale under the pavilion beginning at 6 p.m. For $5, you get a sausage wrap, chips, a dessert and a drink. Drinks will also be sold separately for $1.

The Sieker Band Bluegrass Concert will begin at 7 p.m. and the local Troop 55 of the Boy Scouts will kick the evening off by presenting the colors and the pledge of allegiance right before the band begins to play. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets.
