Sophie was born at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo on June 10, 2010. She weighed 9 pounds, 1 ounce, and was 19 inches long.

She was welcomed by her maternal grandparents, Michael and Marilyn Suber of Richland Springs and Gayle and Kathy Smith of Brady. Paternal grandparents are, Santos and Nonie Elizondo of San Angelo. Great grandparents are, Irene Cummings of Richland Springs and GH Suber of Odessa. Sophie was also welcomed by her aunts, Bethany Suber of Richland Springs, Amy Tucker of Brady, and Estela Cordera of the Woodlands. Sophie’s uncles are Rex Tucker of Brady and Joseph Cordera of the Woodlands. Her cousins are Jaxon, Georgia, and Jesse Tucker of Brady.
