James A. Carrigan

James A. Carrigan, 90, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in Fort Worth.

James was born on October 9, 1919 in San Saba, Texas to Dolph Carrigan and Rosa Chisum Carrigan.

On October 9, 1941, James and Agnes White were married in Del Rio, Texas. They made their home in Fort Worth since 1945.

James was a member of the Church of Christ, was a welder by trade, and received a Purple Heart while serving in the Army.

James is survived by a son-in-law, Kenneth Wright of Haltom City, Texas; and by a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolph and Rosa Carrigan; his wife, Agnes White Carrigan; and a daughter, Rosemary Wright.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at the Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery in Goldthwaite, Texas. Interment followed at the cemetery. His service was officiated by Dayton House.

Services under the direction of the Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home of Goldthwaite, Texas.
