A contractor for TxDOT, Ajax Equipment Co., will be doing repair work on the Colorado River Bridge loacated on U.S. 190, east of San Saba (between San Saba and Lometa). Work will start on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at 7:00 a.m. and could last all day.

The work will involve stopping traffic for extended periods while damaged bridge supports are removed and then later new parts are fitted and replaced. Drivers can expect up to 30 minute delays and are urged to seek alternate routes if possible.
