The home of William Clark was a busy place this past weekend. Saturday Bobby and Kit Clark of Round Rock was in, as was Boyd Clark of Lubbock. On the ailing list is LaNell Daniels who was admitted to Scott and White hospital Friday suffering from a bad cold and pneumonia. Raymond Hicks was in Austin when he suffered a mild heart attack. A stint was put in and he came home Sunday. The Brister family was hard hit this past week with different members suffering from different ailments. Georgia Morris is in the hospital in Dallas suffering from mini strokes, Rayford Brister of San Antonio is having medical problems with his heart and is home, Emerson Brister was in the hospital for a few days having test run. It was found he had an infection and he is now recuperating at home. Keep all of these people in your prayers.
Larry Max Hensley of Midland was a recent visitor in the home of Bill and Jo Price. He enjoyed playing golf at the San Saba River Golf Course while visiting.
Saturday a shrimp boil was held by Mike and Ann, Toby and Vicki McWilliams; about 50 people attended and enjoyed the shrimp. If the oil thing in the Gulf isn’t cleaned up soon it maybe a long time before anyone will be able to enjoy the shrimp and oysters that come from that part of the country. Maybe that is what prompted the shrimp boil Saturday.
