The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met June 10, 2010 for play day with the Chair for June, Jo Anne Hardy, calling for a game of the Traveling 4-Ball Point System (1 point for boggie, 2 points for par, 3 points for birdie, plus your handicap). First Place went to Janet Hoyt and there was a tie for Second between Sandee Hartley and Dorothy Sterner. Sandee also scored the Low Gross and Low Net for the day, shooting a blazing 86. Great round for Sandee!

Hattie Rogers and Courtney McNeal, granddaughter of Dorothy Sterner, joined the ladies for lunch. Her mother Kay McNeal got to play with the ladies, which was a treat as she lives in Boerne, Texas. Jo Ann Snow, Becky Hardin, and Jo Anne Hardy also participated. This was Jo Anne’s first 18 holes since knee surgery and we were pleased that she is back on the links this quickly. She was pleased to be pain free. We just hope that Bobbie Churchill, Pat Ribb, and Bette Odom are soon able to play golf again, as we miss them! Health issues make it very hard to be "swinging!"
