Jewel B. Dawson passed away on Thursday June 10, 2010, at Llano Memorial Hospital. Jewel was born in San Saba County on December 15,1920 to Frank Biederman and Mary Page.

Jewel lived most of her life in San Saba County and was a housewife. Jewel Biederman married Elmer Dawson in 1951 in Llano,Texas and he preceded her in death in 1965.

She is survived by one son, Michael Ray Dawson and his wife Virginia C. of San Saba,Texas; grandchildren, Erica Valenzuela and her husband Marceliano of San Angelo; and Michele Renea Dawson of Austin.

Jewel is preceded in death by her parents,her husband and two brothers.
