Next Thursday, June 24th, Fellowship of Christian Women are making plans to gather in the fellowship hall of Parkview Baptist Church beginning at 11:30 a.m. The church is located on Highway 190 about a mile east of town. Ladies of Parkview will serve as hostesses for a Summer Casserole and Cake Luncheon. Our fifties will be treated this month and other ages are encouraged to bring a casserole or a cake to share around the serving tables. A nursery can be available if you phone Sharon Hayes in advance. Do bring food for your children, if you want them to eat during the luncheon.

A handbell choir from Lometa United Methodist Church has agreed to come and bless our group with patriotic and favorite hymns. These eight ladies under the direction of Mr. Mel Landers are all from the Lometa area. The choir has been organized for many years and we are indeed delighted they are planning to share their musical talents and gifts. Mark your calendars to remember June 24th for this program of very special music.
