Libby (Hufstetler) Mackenzie

Libby (Hufstetler) Mackenzie, 57, of Hamilton, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010, in Comanche, Texas. Libby was born September 1, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, to John Blake Mackenzie and Hallen Hancock Mackenzie.

Libby worked as an administrative assistant in residential care. She was an officer of the Lilly G. Riding Club.

Libby is survived by her son, Robert Hufstetler and his wife Cristal of Belton; her daughters, Jennifer McKinnerney and her husband Mike of Richland Springs; Anne Hufstetler of Dallas; and Mollye Hufstetler of San Saba; her brother, John Mackenzie and his wife Laura of San Antonio; and her sister, Jill Mackenzie and her husband of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Haylie Hufstetler, Mason Hufstetler, Michael McKinnerney, Mykah McKinnerney, Jarren Goins, Hannah Valdez, Tyler Valdez, Allie Valdez, Ruthie Valdez; and nieces and nephews, Christine, Tiffany, Scott, and Brian.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Thomas Hufstetler.

A Memorial Service was held Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 5:00 PM at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel, 1380 Harbin Drive, Stephenville, Texas; Leif Haug, Officiating.

The family received friends on Saturday, June 5, 2010, from 4:00 – 5:00 PM at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel.

The family requests memorials to be made to the Animal Rescue Foundation or the donor’s favorite charity.
