Troy High School senior Brittany Ellis has won the Texas High School Rodeo Association Region X All-Around Cowgirl title for 2010. Ellis finished as the Region barrel racing champion, reserve champion in pole bending, third place in girl's cutting, 6th place in goat tying and 13th place in breakaway roping. She was also named to the national Wrangler High School All-Star Rodeo Team for 2009-2010. Ellis advances to the Texas High School Finals Rodeo in four events June 13-19.
