The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met May 20, 2010 for play day with the Chair for May, Bobbie Churchill, calling for a game of Low Gross and Low Net. First Place Low Gross went to Anita Miles and there was a tie for First Place Low Net between Jo Ann Snow and Janet Hoyt. The big winner of the day was Dorothy Sterner who chipped in to win the chip in pot! This is two times in a row that Dorothy has won the pot. Good for her! Bobbie Churchill and Pat Ribb followed the ladies during play and enjoyed the fresh air and watching their teammates and Jo Anne Hardy joined in for lunch.

April 13, 2010 four ladies, Shirley Hardin, Becky Hardin, Sandee Hartley, and Jo Ann Snow, attended the Traveling 4-Ball Tournament in Lampasas, Texas and Shirley and Jo Ann were both winners at the event.

Seven ladies, Becky Hardin, Shirley Hardin, Hattie Rogers, Jo Ann Snow, Marilyn Kerr, Sandee Hartley, and Anita Miles, attended the Traveling 4-Ball tournament at Hidden Falls in Marble Falls, Texas on May 18, 2010 and had winners. Shirley Hardin was on the second place team and Jo Ann Snow was on the fourth place team! Connie Gray of Granite Shoals, Texas joined the ladies for lunch. Connie is a high school friend of Shirley Hardin and they had an enjoyable lunch visiting about old days and friendships. The Traveling 4-Ball is all about fellowship and golf in it’s best form. The ladies had a delightful day and are looking forward to hosting the Traveling 4-Ball Tournament on June 17, 2010 at the San Saba River Golf Course. It will certainly be the scene of activity, fun in the sun, and lots of ‘swinging!’
