Pictured are the Cherokee Junior High tennis players who all earned medals at the district meet. Front Row (L to R): Amber Bell and Barbara Uribe. Back Row: Diana Ramos, Bailey Arms, Andy Dozier, America Rocha and Emily Skaggs. Dozier placed 2nd. The doubles team of Skaggs/Uribe placed 3rd; Arms/Ramos placed 2nd and Bell/Rocha placed 1st. The girls won the district championship with their sweep! This is believed to be the 1st district championship in Cherokee Junior High’s history. Congratulations to all players for a great season!
