On Monday and Tuesday May 3rd and 4th, Hayden Oliver, Wil Sloan, Luis Vega, and Allan Hale competed in the regional track meet in Odessa. Both young men ended up 14th in their races. Hayden and Allan competed in the 100 meter dash , Wil Sloan com peted in the shot put and Luis Vega competed in the triple jump. The four of them competed to the best of their abilities and as coaches we were very proud of them and we look forward to seeing them make it back to Odessa next year. With their attitude and willingness to work hard they will become better track athletes and better athletes over all. These young men are showing great improvement and the dedication to be successful and they should be commended for that. We want to thank the community for their continued support of San Saba Track, San Saba athletics, and these young men!!
