The San Saba Middle School Tennis Team played in the Brownwood Invitational on April 26. The tennis team came home with eleven medals. Joannah Crosby won first place in 7th Grade Girls Singles in B Division. Kolton Haverland won second place in 7th Grade Boys Singles in B Division. Lauren Dawson won third place in 8th Grade Girls Singles in A Division. Marshall McIntosh won third place in 8th Grade Boys Singles in A Division. Luke Cox and Houston Casco won 4th place in 8th Grade Boys Doubles in A Division. Trevor Tinney won Consolation in 7th Grade Boys Singles B Division. Celestino Aguirre and Alex Cervantes won consolation in 8th Grade Boys Doubles in A Divison.

Ian Spence and MJ Maeza won consolation in 8th Grade Boys Doubles in B Division.

Twenty five players in all from San Saba played in the Brownwood Tournament. The District 6-AA Middle School Tournament will be played on Saturday, May 3rd in San Saba. The tournament will start at 8:30 a.m. and will last all day.
