San Saba's Megan Cisneroz shot 70 on both days, April 21-22, of the Regional Golf Tournament held at Shady Oaks in Baird to capture the Regional Golf Title. Teammate Shelby Hardy shot 70 and 77 to capture 3rd Place. Kendra Whitley of Wall shot 70-75 to take 2nd Place.

The Lady Dillo Golf Team took Second Place at the Regional Tournament to earn a bid to the State Tournament at Roy Kizar Golf Course on May 5-6, 2008. The Lady Dillo team scores of 327-328=655 is the best two-day scores ever recorded by a Lady Dillo golf team.

Wall won the Tournament with a 324-298=621 score which is also a new record for Wall, who were the defending State champions.

San Saba's Tara Owens shot 89-87, which are her personal best scores. Nina Paredez shot 98-94, which is also a personal best for her. Nikki Lindsey shot 104-103 to round out the Lady Dillo scores.

It was a great performance by the Lady Dillos.
