Dear Editor,

Last Friday both the City and County of San Saba authorized the funds necessary to hire paramedics and appointed a board of 6 members, 3 city and 3 county, that will study and report on the necessary long range steps required to insure not only the continuance but the enhancement of our EMS. The County and the City governments have always worked together well and fairly, and after a long visit with the Mayor, I am confident that we will continue to do so on this most important issue.

As a representative of all the citizens of this County, both within the city limits and outside, I pledge to do all within my power to not only protect our EMS for the long term but to improve it and do so in a fair and balanced manner.
