Pete Phillips, 77, of Richland Springs, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at a local care facility in San Saba. Pete was born November 7, 1932, to Ed Phillips and Idell Meyers Phillips.

Pete was a member of the Baptist Church and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Pete is survived by his brothers, Odus Richmon of Richland Springs, Texas, and Ira Richmon of Garland, Texas; one sister Elaine Hughes of Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters.

Visitation was on Saturday, April 17, 2010, at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home.

Services were held Sunday, April 18, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Fikes, officiating.

Interment followed at the Locker Cemetery.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Locker Cemetery Association.
