The day started out nice, but as the sun went down, the temperature did also. The Jr. High Lady Dillos did a good job, but were severly outnumbered by other district schools. Our participation was great as there were only six girls in Jr. High who did not participate in track.

The 7th Girls finished 4th with 96.5 points and the 8th finished 5th one-half point behind Comanche with58.5 points. Comanche won the 7th while Early won the the 8th.

Medal winners were: 1st-Mikayla Cisneroz-Long Jump, 100 & 200. Shellby Buttler-1600. 2nd-McKenna Maxcey-Long Jump & Pole Vault; 3rd-Mikayla Cisneroz-Triple Jump; Shea Scott-800, Shellby Buttler-2400, McKenna Maxcey-100 Hurdles. Valerie Salinas-Pole Vault, 800 Relay (Salinas, Lauryn Tatsch, Ashlyn Turner, Joy Trujillo), 1600 Relay-(Maxcey, Tatsch, Scott, A. J. Gamboa).

Others who had their best marks of the year: Leigh Riggs-200 & 400, Shea Scott-800 & High Jump, A.J. Gamboa-800, Shellby Buttler-1600, Meredith Meador-100 Hurdles & Triple Jump, Magali Estrada-100 Hurdles, Lauryn Tatsch-300 Hurdles & Triple Jump, Valerie Salinas-300 Hurdles, McKenna Maxcey-Long Jump & Pole Vault, Mikayla Cisneroz-Long Jump, Triple Jump, & 100, Marissa Anaya-Shot Put, Jaden Pringle-Pole Vault, Mikayla Eden-Pole Vault Jennifer Watkins-800. These young ladies did their best job when it was time to do so, the District Meet.

The meet before was the Goldthwaite Meet. The 7th Grade was 2nd behind Early and the 8th Grade was 3rd behind Early & Goldthwaite. The 7th scored 93 points & the 8th 85 points.
