San Saba Middle School Boys Track Team competes in District Track

The Middle School Boys Dillos competed in the District Meet in Comanche last Thursday. They had a good track meet. The 8th grade boys finished 6th place, and the 7th grade boys finished 2nd place.

Congrats Dillos on the meet.

There were several highlights of the meet. In the 8th grade- Colton Ellis- 2nd in 400M Dash; Daniel Garcia 5th in 2400M Run; Kelan Verette 3rd in Triple Jump; Kristian McCoury 6th in Shot Put.

The 8th grade relay teams did well also going 5th in the 4x100; 4th in the 4x400; and 5th in the 4x200.

The relays consisted of Jordan Watson, Dallas Caldwell, Cosme Diaz and Kelan Verette.

In the 7th grade- Jesse Franco 6th in 100M Dash; Vicente Vega 2nd in 800 M Run and 5th in 400 M Dash; Juan Gonzales 5th in 800 M Run and 6th in 400M Run; Garret Welch 4th in 110 Hurdles, 6th in Triple Jump and 4th in Pole Vault; Gabe Zimmer 2nd in Long Jump; Jason Jimenez 4th in Shot Put; Emiliano Zapata 4th in Triple Jump.

The 7th grade relays did well placing 2nd in 4X100; 1st in 4X200; and 2nd in the 4X400.

The relays consisted of Will Cooley, Nimo Vega, Emiliano Zapata and Gabe Zimmer.
