Good attendance is so important to student success. Please urge your child to be at school each and every day. There are only six weeks of school remaining. Here is a schedule of some of this year’s remaining events at Richland Springs:

April 15- Area H.S. Track Meet at McMurray

April 16- K & 1st Bowling Field trip to Brownwood

April 21- Kindergarten Round-up

April 22-Regional Qualifier H.S. Track Meet at Zephyr

April 23 & 24- High School UIL Academic Regional Meet at ACU Abilene

April 24- Project Graduation Fish Fry at RS Fire Station

May 1- Junior/Senior Prom @7:30 at Richland Springs Cafetorium

May 3-4- Regional H.S. Track Meet at ACU Abilene

May 4- 8th grade noon luncheon at Baptist Church- at noon

May 7- K-6 Youth Outdoor Education at Brownwood State Park

May 7- Sports Banquet –in the RS Cafetorium 6:30

May 8- Alumni Banquet –in the RS gymnasium 6:00; meal at 7:00

May 11- 12 th grade noon luncheon at Baptist Church- at 12 noon

May 13- Elementary Sports Field Day

May 13- Heart of Texas Literature Book Grab

May 17- Rotary Honor Banquet @ San Saba-

May 19- 2-3 grade Science Trip to Deep Creek Ranch

May 19- Senior Baccalaureate Practice & Luncheon- at 11 a.m.

May 20- National Honor Society Induction at 3:00 in Cafetorium

May 20- Band Awards and Concert; High School UIL Academic Awards-Cafetorium at 6:30

May 21-22- HOT Coaching Clinic

May 25- AR Swimming Party

May 23- Baccalaureate at 6:00 at First Christian Church

May 27- 8th Grade Graduation-Cafetorium at 6:30 p.m.

May 28- Last Day of School

May 28- Graduation- at 7:30 at Richland Springs Cafetorium

If you see a teacher in public, tell them how much you appreciate their efforts.
