Jay Parr has been moved to Scott and White Care Center in Temple. Hopefully he will be home soon.

The Relay for Life Fish Fry was a big success last Friday night. A big thanks to the workers and the people that purchased plates.

Barbara Maddox spent the weekend visiting Angela, Ross and Dean Maddox. She was able to watch the boys play soccer. Roman is on a business trip.

Randy Ward from Brownwood visited in Cherokee last week. Randy lived at the Home and graduated from Cherokee High. Randy it was great to visit with you.

Pat Cavness from Lampasas attended the Fish Fry last Friday night. Pat retired recently. We certainly appreciated his attendance.

Diane Maxim honored husband, Bob with a surprise birthday party last Saturday night in Llano. A large group from Cherokee attended. Bob, hope you have many, many more.

Meet Kay Conners and Karen Earlywine at their book signing on April 16, 2010 from 12-6 at The Nine Patch in Marble Falls, Texas located at 407 Main Street. Refreshments will be served. These two ladies are sisters and have roots in Cherokee, San Saba and Llano. Their descendents are the Kuykendalls, Grays and the Baumans. They had ties to building the Baptist Church in Cherokee.

Relay for Life will be Friday night in San Saba. The event is from 6:00 p.m. Friday evening until 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning. If you attend, be sure and visit the Randolph team. They will be walking in memory of Charles Randolph.
