The One Act Play advanced Wednesday, March 24 at the Zone Contest in Rochelle. They competed at Coleman on Wednesday, March 31. Recipients of individual awards at Zone on March 24 are these students: Honorable Mention to Marsha McMillan and Brooklyn McGinty; All Star Cast went to Sara Hedley and Kelyn Green; and Best Actress went to Emily Smith. As the old saying goes "Break a leg".

The Academics Spring Meet was held at Panther Creek High School on March 23 and March 25. The meet composite results are as follows:

Students advancing to the Regional Academic meet in Abilene are:

Stephen Fowler-Math, Brennen McGinty-Math, Sara Hedley-Lincoln Douglas Debate, Editorial Writing & Persuasive Speaking, Kelyn Green-Informative Speaking, and Emily Smith-Informative Speaking. Thanks to all Richland Springs staff for driving, coaching, mentoring and everything you did to help our students compete in academics.

This Thursday is the end of the 5th six-weeks grading period. Friday, April 2 is a school holiday.

Fifth and eight grade students take TAKS Math & Reading on April 6 & 7. The last TAKS testing session begins on April 25 th.

Attendance is important! Encourage your child to be at school everyday. When you see a teacher in public, let them know that their efforts are appreciated.
