The teams participating in the San Saba County Relay for Life were asked to provide at least one item for a silent auction as another way to raise monies for the American Cancer Society. They were succesful in getting lots of great items for your bidding thanks to the generosity of many local businesses and their team members.

These items will be on display at the Arrowhead Bank beginning Thursday, April 1st through April 15th. They will then be moved to the event location at Risien Park on Friday, April 16th. Bids will close at 10:00 p.m. that night so be sure to make sure you are the top bidder on your item of choice.

Just to give you a hint of some of the wonderful items you will have to choose from: an original watercolor painting by Sandra Deans, a pair of boots from Harry’s, a black buck hunt, a whitetail hunt and the list goes on.
