Your closets not the only thing that needs Spring cleaning

Spring is a great time for cleaning and pitching in with the Keep San Saba Beautiful’s plans for Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup. The event, organized locally by Keep San Saba Beautiful, is part of a nation’s largest cleanup, beautification and community improvement program.

Everyone is invited to join in the activities on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the San Saba County Courthouse and help make San Saba a more beautiful and safer place to live.

More than 2.3 million volunteers this year in more than 15,000 communities throughout the U.S. are rallying to participate in a cleanup, beautification and community improvement activities. Please join your friends and neighbors at 8:00 a.m. at the Courthouse for fun, food, t-shirts, and your cleaning assignment! A bake and plant sale will be held in conjunction with the clean up. Keep San Saba Beautiful is raising funds to purchase new flower pots for the downtown area. The transfer site will be open that morning to deposit your items for free.
