Last year Count Desmond of Mobile, Alabama swallowed seven swords.

The blades, coated with ammonia window cleaner, were between 23 and 26 inches long.

But there's a more pleasurable and profitable exercise than that. The Bible says, "Take the sword of the Spirit-which is the Word of God."

Take it as your power for conflict, your preservative from evil, your premium for victory.

Our Lord took it and with it He defeated the devil. So will you.

Practice swallowing swords, but make it the sword of the Spirit, which is the Bible.
