Thomas Arthur Moody, age 79 of San Saba County, Texas died Friday, March 26, 2010. He was born December 29, 1930 in Danbury, Connecticut. He was the son of Joseph Moody and Carrie Wood of Brewster, New York. He was married to Martha Sue Hoffmeyer of Tyler, Texas on August 17, 1957.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Martha Sue and son, Thomas of Quitman, Mississippi; Daughter, Elizabeth and son, Matthew of San Saba, Texas; daughter-in-law, Theresa Moody of Quitman, Mississippi and a son-in-law, John Hoenow of San Saba. He has six grandchildren. Tom was a graduate of Becker college in Worchester, Mass., and was employed for 38 years with General Electric Company wher among many managerial assignments he managed the cooking appliance business.
